My name is Dima Dogadaylo and it is my personal blog. I'm a thirty one years old and I live in Ukraine. My principal activity is development of new computer algorithms used in different fields such as web and mobile clients. After I finished the study at the school with a first class honours degree I entered the computer science faculty of Donetsk State Technical University. So by the age of twenty two I had obtained considerable store of knowledge in the field of applied mathematics. Besides I have achieved almost a first class honours degree, a military certificate of lieutenant and a driver license of categories BC. But nothing of abovementioned was not used during next 3 years, because I was up to my ear in the new passion – journalism. I worked as a reporter, then as a computer and economical observer. Also I was a trainee in Russian and USA mass-media. So I got a position of the editor-in-chief of the economical weekly. In some time I gave it up and started working in the Internet. I was one of the creators of the first Ukrainian Internet-newspaper (it was planned the first, but it was born the second). Then I developed one more Internet-newspaper. I created it with the same colleagues but without former enthusiasm. In time I have given up the ghost on describing the actions, so I wanted to act myself. When I returned to the programming and mathematics I got those absolute criteria which I was lack working as a journalist. I started with Java and was fond of programming of the different gadgets like mobile phones, TV-sets and other smart devices. I have won several international contests of computer developers in this field and got valuable experience of right code development for devices, that are very limited by its functions. At the same time I worked as a project manager in the company whose specialization was sites creation by using PHP. This job caused strong denial of this limited language. After that I worked with J2EE. This platform remained ambiguous expression. If in the J2ME abstraction is used quite successfully than J2EE makes simple things very complicated by its abstractions. The language of programming that I look for have to be simple and universal. Besides, I have to be able to write code for different platforms using this language. Accidentally I found in the Internet the remarkable book of Mark Pilgrim called "Dive Into Python". After I have read it and also other several books about Python, I found the language which is very nice to write in. Nowadays loads of time I use Python in my work and apply Java only for programming of mobile phones. You can contact me by email entropyhacker at gmail dot com |
